Installable community plugins usually declare a DSH bundle and can be added with dsh plugin --profile web add …. Many official @deepseek-ai/dsh-* packages are already part of the Standard preset or host runtime, so installing another copy is usually the wrong action.
Discover first, inspect review information, then decide whether to install
The DSH discovery ecosystem contains 2,000+ plugins, but volume, stars and downloads are not safety signals. The Community Plugin Explorer cross-references discovery data with structural review records; every non-DeepSeek plugin is simply labeled “Third-party.”
The correct third-party plugin path
Search by capability in the Community Plugin Explorer instead of installing something because it ranks highly.
Origin labels only describe source: DeepSeek entries say “Official,” everything else says “Third-party.” Structural review, lifecycle scripts and build approval remain separate detail fields.
For the actual install, return to the author source and README, pin your own version/commit, and test first in a disposable profile/workspace.

Stars, downloads and Top/New are discovery signals, not security decisions. The Explorer can sort by review evidence, stars, downloads or recency, while the origin label remains simply Official or Third-party.
